Live Betting and Cash Out
Understand how real-time betting works before you start — better-informed decisions lead to a better experience.
How Real-Time Betting Works
In live betting (in-play), odds change as the match progresses — every goal, red card or ace in tennis shifts market values in real time. Markets may pause briefly after major events before odds are updated again. This gives players who are watching the match closely a chance to make decisions based on what they are seeing for themselves.
Popular Live Markets
Live Asian Handicap
Asian Handicap updates continuously based on the current score. Team A gives an advantage to Team B through a handicap value that keeps changing.
First-Half Over/Under
Bet on the total goals in the first half only — this market closes at minute 45 and delivers results faster.
Next Team to Score
Choose Team A, Team B or No Goal — odds move quickly after every dangerous attack.
Total Corners
Over/under market for the total number of corners throughout the match or within a specific period.
Set Winner (Badminton)
For badminton matches, bet on who wins the next set or the total points in the current set.
What Is the Cash Out Feature?
Cash Out lets you settle a bet before the match ends at the current value determined by live odds — not the original value of your bet. The cash out value moves up and down with match conditions. Full Cash Out settles the entire bet, while Partial Cash Out lets you lock in part of the returns while letting the rest run.
This feature is available on many major sports markets and remains active for the duration of the match.

Gambling Terms You Should Know
Understand the basic terms before you play — this knowledge helps you make better decisions.
Asian Handicap
A handicap system from Asia that eliminates the possibility of a draw by giving each team an advantage or a deficit. More popular than European handicap among Malaysia players because the odds are fairer.
Over/Under (Totals)
You bet on whether the total score (or other statistics such as corners) will be above or below a value set by the platform. No need to pick a winner — just estimate the total.
Odds Formats
Odds can be displayed in decimal (1.85), fractional (17/20) or American (-118) format. Most Malaysia platforms use decimal by default. Decimal odds are multiplied by the bet amount to get the total return including the stake.
RTP (Return to Player)
The theoretical long-term percentage of wagered money returned to players. An RTP of 96% means that for every RM100 played, RM96 is expected to be returned as winnings over the long term. This is not a guarantee for any individual session.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage the casino holds in every game. This does not mean you cannot win in the short term — but over the long term, the mathematics favour the casino by a certain margin.
Wagering Requirement
The number of times you must replay the bonus value before winnings from that bonus can be withdrawn. Example: a RM150 bonus with a 15x requirement means you must wager RM2,250 before a withdrawal is allowed.
Live Dealer Casino
Casino games with a real human dealer broadcast via live video. You see the dealer shuffling cards or spinning the roulette wheel in real time — more credible than computer-only games.
Slot Volatility
Refers to the frequency and size of wins. High-volatility slots pay out less often but in larger amounts; low-volatility slots pay out more often but in smaller amounts. Choose based on your playing style and budget.
Progressive Jackpot
A jackpot that grows from player contributions across a network — the more people play, the larger the prize. The jackpot can only be won when certain conditions are met in the game.
Cashback
A portion of your net losses is returned as credit or cash. At fl888, weekly cashback is given to VIP Bronze, Silver and Gold members at different rates.
Mix Parlay
A combination of several bet selections on one slip. All selections must be correct to win — but the multiplied odds offer a much higher potential return compared to a single bet.
Baccarat
A classic casino card game that is very popular in Asia. You simply choose between Player, Banker or Tie. No complex decisions are needed — easy enough for new players too.
Common Beliefs vs Reality
Many players bring misconceptions to the table — let's set them straight.
"A slot that hasn't paid out in a long time is due to pay now"
FactEvery slot spin is independent and random. The machine does not keep a 'debt' — previous results have no effect whatsoever on the next spin.
"Losing several times in a row means a win is coming soon"
FactThis is known as the "Gambler's Fallacy". Every round is an independent event — the probability does not change even if you have lost ten times in a row.
"There is a guaranteed winning system for baccarat"
FactNo betting system — including Martingale or Fibonacci — can overcome the house edge in the long run. These systems only change how you bet, not the underlying probabilities.
"Depositing more increases your chances of winning"
FactDeposit size does not change the RTP or house edge of a game. A larger deposit simply means larger bets — higher risk, not a higher statistical chance of winning.
"The casino can adjust the RTP in real time while you are playing"
FactLicensed platforms use an independently audited RNG (Random Number Generator). RTP is set within the game software and cannot be changed on an ad-hoc basis by the operator.
"Certain times of day are better for playing slots"
FactThe RNG produces random results at all times. There are no "hot periods" or "cold periods" — the algorithm makes no distinction between morning, afternoon or midnight.
